The IBM p5 720 (9124-720) server is an extension of the POWER5 processor-based server. The OpenPower 720 offers 1-way, 2-way, and 4-way configurations with 64-bit POWER5 microprocessor with a 1-way and 2-way processor running at 1.5 GHz and a 2-way processor running at 1.65 GHz. The p5 720 delivers 512 MB of main memory and can be expanded to 64 GB for faster performance.
