These augmentations to the processing speed and storage capacity of the 2 year old Oracle SuperCluster Box has added the following features to the high performance “hardware and software” engineered devices.
- Virtualization based multi-tenancy as against “Plug-able Database” (PDB) process.
- Enhances ability to handle “in-memory workloads and large vertically scaled databases”.
- Concurrent running and support of multiple database versions
- Seamless integration with existing Storage Area Networks
- Augmentation of processing power to process “application-tier workloads” in addition to Oracle Database processing.
